About me

Hey all the teacher said we could write about whatever we wanted to write a little bit about myself. I graduated high school in 2004 started my CNA class and then was certified later that year I worked as a home health aide and a CNA in a skilled nursing home for about 2 years. From there in 2006 I enrolled in Ashmead college of massage which was then changed to Everest Institute. I graduated from there in March of 2008 It should have only taken me 11 months to get my degree but I took 6 months off when I had my first daughter.
Now I live in a small coastal town in Oregon and I work at a facility that is a Skilled Nursing Home. Today officially marks me 33 weeks pregnant woo almost done! I currently have a 3 year old daughter that will almost be 3 and a half when the new addition arrives which is also a girl. Two teenagers at once that are girls someone save me now ha ha.
My first pregnancy wasn't all that joyous for me and this one has not been much different there always seems to be something that goes wrong I get sick more often I have never been on more medication while pregnant when when I am not pregnant. I have what I call all day sickness for the first 6 months of my pregnancy I lost 22lbs when I was unable to normally eat due to the sickness. But it is all worth it in the end because I get a beautiful bundle of joy. I am although getting my tubes tied after this baby is born I would rather not have anymore babies I don't mind adoption or marrying someone with children I just don't want to be pregnant again!
I am going to online classes because I can't take the time off work, and can not afford the daycare to attend a college in my area this works better for me with my schedule. I want to get my degree and become an Administrator at either a Nursing home Memory Care Facility or at a Hospital. I love the health care field have been doing it for 7 years now but would like to get into the office side of it.

  1. Well Ashley, I raised four daughters. I think I only had three teen age daughter at one time though. Many times I thought I would need institutionalizing. :-) But we made it. All are grown now. One is a web consultant and mother to my youngest granddaughter, one an environmental scientist, one the mother of two of my granddaughters, and the youngest is a clothing designer. Oh yes, I am so proud.

You have so much to look forward to!
